Data Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Halo Advisory (a trading name of Halo Enterprises Limited, Lusaka, Zambia) collects when you use this website, why, and how it's protected.

1. What we collect

DataWhenWhy
Full name, email addressAt checkoutTo identify your order and deliver your Product(s)
Phone numberOnly if you choose MTN/Airtel Mobile MoneyPassed to Flutterwave to process the mobile money charge
Cart contents, order total, transaction referenceAt checkoutTo fulfil and verify your order

We never collect or see your full card number, expiry date, or CVV. Card details are entered directly on Flutterwave's own secure, PCI DSS-certified payment page and never pass through our servers.

2. How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share order and payment details only with Flutterwave, our payment service provider, so that they can process your payment and we can verify it. Flutterwave is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider and processes this data under its own privacy and security standards.

4. How long we keep it

We retain order records (name, email, order details, transaction reference) for as long as needed to handle support requests, refunds, and our own accounting/legal obligations.

5. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (subject to what we're legally required to keep for accounting purposes). Contact haloadvisory@outlook.com to make a request.

6. Security

Our checkout connects to Flutterwave over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. All payment verification happens server-side using Flutterwave's API before any Product access is granted, so a browser-only "success" message is never trusted on its own.

7. Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies/local storage to run this site — for example, to remember what's in your cart, your selected display currency, and your cookie preference. These are required for the site to function and can't be switched off.

With your consent (asked via the cookie banner on your first visit), we may also use analytics cookies — such as Google Analytics or a similar tool — to understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate. These help us improve the site and are never used to identify you personally or sold to third parties. You can decline analytics cookies at any time, and your choice is remembered for future visits. To change a previous choice, clear your browser's site data for haloadvisory.org and you'll be asked again.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to haloadvisory@outlook.com or +260 974 088 009.
